About M Diane Bonaparte
Diane is originally from Chicago, Ill., but has lived in Tucson since 1981.
She began painting in oils after taking classes at the Beverly Art Center in Chicago.
When she and her husband Joe moved to Tucson, Diane continued to paint; adding photography, watercolors and soft pastels to her list of mediums.
She also joined several art groups and co-op galleries, displaying in various shows, including two shows at the De Grazia Gallery in the Sun, Dry Heat Trading Co., Banks, and Medical waiting rooms.
Diane is currently teaching soft pastels, acrylics, oils and watercolor while continuing to paint, display and sell at various Art Shows. She also designs unique southwest style crosses from different woods and saguaro ribs for home or garden display.
Diane is currently a member of the Southwestern League of Fine Arts. and the Tucson Pastel Society.
